Deep within the circle, something extraordinary appeared.
Tiny flowers. Flowing vines. The delicate tendrils of an underwater garden. And nestled within them, a sea dragon, one of the ocean's most magical and elusive creatures, found only in the waters of southern Australia.
It wasn't planned. It never is. The ink and water simply moved and the garden grew and then there it was, waiting to be found.
The sea dragon carries an ancient blessing, good fortune, protection, the quiet grace of nature watching over a home. This work brings that energy with it wherever it lives.
Seashells foraged from the beach in front of my studio in Geraldton are held within the circle alongside the garden. Each shell a small offering from the sea. Every passing life leaves something beautiful behind.
