The sea eagle is unmistakable, bold and certain, watching from above with that particular stillness that precedes flight. Below, the squid reveals itself more slowly. Its form dissolves into extraordinary feathered blue, drifting and shifting in the depths. The longer you look, the more you find.
Between them, an unexpected burst of burnt orange, wild and electric against the deep cobalt and royal blue. Not planned. Simply arrived. The way the most clarifying things do.
This work holds the paradox of two natures that seem opposite and are in fact inseparable. The eagle brings clarity, courage, the ability to rise above until pattern and path become visible. The squid brings adaptability, depth, the wisdom of knowing when to dissolve and re-emerge. Neither is stronger. Both are necessary.
I am the eagle. I am the squid. I am all that lies between.
For the person who understands that wisdom lives in both the rising and the releasing. This is a work that rewards living with, it gives you something different each time you return to it.
