Platypus' Garden

A$1,200.00

The platypus shouldn't exist. Science will tell you that. A mammal that lays eggs, navigates by electroreception and somehow thrives on its own entirely original terms.

This work arrived in that spirit.

Soft lavender and pale grey open into blues and earth tones, the circle breathing rather than closing — a garden in full and quiet bloom. Ink, oil and earth-sourced salt finding their own forms, their own logic. Look long enough and something small and extraordinary appears within it, living peacefully among the flowers.

For the person who has made peace with their own beautiful contradictions. Who has stopped trying to fit a mould that was never made for them. Who knows that the most original lives rarely make sense from the outside — and has stopped needing them to.

Mixed media, ink, oil and earth-sourced salt on paper.
